Tea towels for the modern kitchen

This was the second set of gifts I made recently. Apparently, linen tea towels are a thing (who knew!) and I found this beautiful linen looking material in a cotton blend.

It was a relatively easy project to start. I made about three tea towels before I discovered a video from Purl Soho on how to make the perfect mitered corners. Every day it's a discovery in the sewing world ... mitered corners? Who ever looked at corners before? Well, my friends, there are different ways to sew corners!

So this is the beautiful stack of tea towels I made.
